I have heard that billboards are expensive?

Billboards aren’t as expensive as you might think. SME’s think that they cannot afford them due to the sheer size and is only available to big national brands. FALSE!!! Big, national brands use billboards because it works. Advertising on a 48 sheet (20ft x 10ft) billboard for as little as £300 per fortnight. Im thinking of using other advertising formats but how do billboards compare?

Billboards are by far more cost effective than other forms of traditional advertising and also offer a much greater reach. You can’t turn off or turn over a billboard like radio or TV. It displays and delivers your message 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How much does a billboard advertising cost?

This is one of the most common outdoor advertising FAQs. Billboard advertising costs around £300 per fortnight and we also offer great discounts for longer term bookings. We are not bound by national rate cards, we are able to offer great discounts and strongly believe that billboards should be available to everyone.

How much does it cost to print a poster?

Printing of a 48 sheet standard poster is around £100. The more posters that you need the cheaper the production costs become. In some cases we even offer the printing free of charge with your advertising campaign.

Are there any other hidden extra costs?

There are no other hidden costs, what you get quoted is what you pay. Media space + poster printing + advert design (if needed) and thats it.

How long are billboards normally booked for?

Billboards are generally booked for a minimum of 2 weeks, we also have customers who book for 3, 6, 9 and 12 months.

We have various poster printing formats that will be able to last the distance depending on how long the campaign is.

You can also book a long term campaign and change the artwork as many times as you like during the period.

Why should I book a billboard(s) long term?

We can offer you really great discounted rates and at the same time this will offer you maximum exposure for your business and brand. Consumers will see your advertising message multiple times giving strong recognition. Feel free to have a look at the main benefits of booking billboards long term.

Can you help me design my advert?

We have an in house design team who have been designing effective adverts for years. We can help with your artwork needs and always advise you on the look of your advert.

What should I put in my billboard advert?

Unlike other advertising formats, with outdoor advertising you must keep it simple, less is more. Motorists and passers by only have a few seconds to engage with your advert, so you need to make it punchy and easy to understand. Stay away from using too much text.

Include things like:-

Logo, contact details and who you are

What are you selling or promoting

Call to actions – When or where is it happening and how can they find your business.

How can I measure my return on investment?

There are many ways to measure your ROI on a campaign. Some businesses include a designated tel number, QR or promotional code within their advert to effectively track ROI. We have a great guide to measuring the ROI of your campaign here.

Can I pick a specific billboard?

Of course you can, all we need to do is tell us the Town, City or road and then we can check its availability.
